Along with many other students at the University of Puget Sound, I send my support to black students at LC. Racist threats like these are repulsive, immoral, and illegal, and cannot be tolerated.

As an alum, I stand in solidarity with black students, staff and faculty at Lewis & Clark and in solidarity with student and faculty organizing for institutional change at Lewis & Clark. Black Lives Matter. The safe education of black students matters.

This is just wrong, there shouldn't be a place anywhere where people should have to watch their backs or fear those who are among them. This is sad.

As a law school faculty member, I join in unconditional support. There's no place in our community for this. Let's hope that the misguided person behind it can be identified, and that it's someone from the outside. Whoever it is, may he or she be held to account.

As decent human beings, we need to learn how to treat people, despite their differences, with respect. Believe in whatever you want to believe in, but once you threaten a person's or a people's life, you will suffer the consequences. Hate speech has no place here. #BLM

This generation is at the perfect place to not repeat the same mistakes as our predecessors. Let's love each other. Actually love each other. Complaining about our community or the world won't change anything. Start living with the intention to make those around you know that they are loved.
