We must increase funding for free healthcare+education for African Americans, surge funding and resources for African American Heritage, and build monuments honoring the Hero’s of Black History. Semper Fi.

I stand I solidarity with black students and students of color at Lewis & Clark and every school across the nation, realizing I am not free or safe until every member of my community is.

I live near Lewis and Clark, in Hillsdale, and I hope the black student that was targeted know how much I and other neighbors who are not part of Lewis and Clark support him, and all students of color on campus.

LC grad, '08. It is a shame that race is still such an issue at LC, and even moreso that it seems that overt racial hostility is, as far as I can tell, even worse than when I was there.

Students of color have felt uncomfortable at LC for far too long. It's past time for things to change.

Racism is a serious crime. Please be a model and lead by example of how to take threats serious and protect students of color.
