We should not let the temporary objections of a few households along Channing Road block the construction of a wonderful new town asset that will benefit a very large number of people and that will encourage and facilitate low carbon transportation and exercise.

I LOVE the idea of a community path to link Belmont with our downtown and surrounding communities. I think this will enhance our community and prove to be another asset to living in Belmont.

It's hard for most people to understand why the path on the north side of the tracks doesn't make it all the way to Belmont Center. It's a win for everyone in the community.
