Please sign this petition to help us get a skate park in fishers!! Nick G and Jordan K, 5th graders at Sand Creek Intermediate have been working with the Fishers Parks department, the school superintendent and several other people in the decision making process. Right now they are at the point in the process where they are looking at locations as well as other technicalities.
They have asked the boys to put together a Facebook fan page and get a petition together from the community. The boys have been working very hard on this project for several months now and this dream of theirs is looking like it can become a reality. Please show your support for them and all their hard work by signing the petition for them to submit to the city and parks department leaders.

this is getting way bigger than i ever imagined and the momentum is honestly incredible. seeing so many people back these kids is exactly what we need to show the city that this park is actually wanted.

Yes!! We need this. My daughter is always out on her deck and wants a safe spot to practice.
These guys have worked hard for months on this project. Let's do what we can to support them.
This is an excellent idea! I hope it happens. There's so many kids in fishers I see on longboards, skateboards and bikes.
I support this cause 100%. I am 34 years old, my best friend and I tried this exact thing 20 years ago with no luck. I will gladly help with anything I can in this endeavor. Please feel free to contact me for anything regrading this skatepark. P.S. No bikes, no support, segregation among park use is not ok!
Skating is great!!! Gives the kids who don't excel at certain sports a chance to be active in other ways. A great way to make life long friends

My son has been asking for a place to skate for years. There is literally nothing for them to do in town except get in trouble. Good job boys
