I would love this to go ahead as I think it will add so much to the town and increase business for existing shops and restaurants as people use Farnham, rather than the surrounding towns, more. The housing created is also important.

Wish they would get on with it, something is better than nothing. It's taken too long, had hoped that it would be built by now for us to enjoy as a family !!

I am in support of the Brightwells development going ahead, it has taken so many years of discussions and deliberations that as a Farnham resident, I would like to actually start enjoying the East Street end of the town being rejuvenated.

A long overdue and well needed redevelopment of this neglected area of Farnham.
This development with breath life in to this eyesore of an area, benefiting Farnham as a whole.
As a resident of Farnham for 18 years, I cannot wait to see this complete and make use of its facilities (cinema, shopping and new restaurants).

I have lived in Aldershot and the cinema complex there (Westgate) is lively and well used all year round, Farnham definitely needs regenerating for a new generation.

Having moved to Farnham in 1995 for university, and hearing the talk of the development back then, I find it ridiculous that a handful of people have been able to stop this for so long.
It would be lovely if they had designed it to be more in keeping with the town, but at the end of the day it will provide people with a reason to use Farnham instead of going elsewhere to spend their money.
It will add worth to farnhams value
