Not sure I see the logic in blocking this - looks like Farnham would benefit from it.

Farnham needs to become a destination shopping centre and attarct major shopping brands to it.

I strongly support this petition. Farnham needs this regeneration . The whole area is an eyesore it's the first thing you see when coming in from hale road. Why are people objecting ? The plans for development are within keeping of our lovely town.

This development is long overdue and precisely what Farnham needs to boost the local economy. It will benefit local business and make the east end of town a much more pleasant and sociable place to be. Many young people will also benefit from the cinema and greater range of restaurants and retail - not to mention the additional housing. FIG trying to block this development is spectacularly selfish and they do NOT represent us residents!

Been in Farnham 14 years waiting for that crappy bit of town to be refreshed. The delay is now an embarrassment.

I support the Brightwells development as it is presently a run down area and such a waste of land. The redevelopment is tasteful and will also create further jobs.
