As a resident of Farnham for over fifty years I feel very sad that what was once a vibrant thriving town has been allowed to decline over the last decade. Farnham need this development!

I support the scheme and it is my considered view that it would benefit Farnham and its residents as well as future residents. This part of town is in need of development and this scheme would deliver well needed development.

I'm so disappointed by the residents of Farnham who want to hold this development back. What have they been doing about this messy part of town for 30 years? Absolutely nothing. And now here's some fantastic investment for our town and they say no - but present no viable alternative.

In 2006 my then 10 year old daughter had a letter published in the Farnham Herald (prompted by her hearing all the arguing) pleading for this development to be approved, jesting that she did not want to be 18 and leaving Farnham before it was completed, the cinema being a huge plus. Here we are, she is 19 now and had all those years of missed local entertainment. Farnham needs to move on for the youth or else we will lose them...
