The school board & district administration are supportive of current Dual Language Immersion (DLI) programs and there is no threat to end those. However, the district & school board are unsure about DLI at the secondary level. So that means after 5th grade our DLI program could suddenly end! DLI is a K-12 program, and you are right, the program is too good to not continue it into the secondary level. There has been no final decisions yet on their part so we have to show them that we parents want DLI to grow into the secondary level!

Both my kids love being in dual immersion, the teachers are great and what they learn, and how quickly, is just amazing!

Dual immersion (Chinese) has been a great additive for my child who needs a little extra at school.
