Please reinstate the diversity/inclusion training. Without such training, you are turning a blind eye to the bigotry and misogyny that will continue due to fear and ignorance.

I received this "controversial" training, and it was an integral part in my challenging my own biases and being more accepting and inclusive of ALL people. Keep Diversity, Equity, and inclusion in our vision and future, for the sake of all!

As a student employee who completed this training, I can say that the people who did the videos were well-educated, open minded, kind, and showing no bias toward any type of person, but rather showed the wonderful types of people we encounter. I believe it is important to our values at JMU and that uncomfortable conversations need to be had in order to obtain growth and make a step toward healing.

Jennifee Iwerks is one of the sweetest people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing and working with. She deserves to be able to facilitate this program and educate our future generations to be more acceptinf and critical of the current political and societal climages plaguing this nation. I support her and her team in their endeavors and encourage JMU to be the example and push back against those who don't wish to see change

JMU, unless you will only have white middle-aged males as staff and students, why would you accept a biased report on Fox as weight in your curriculum decision-making.
Are you saying that every staff you employee makes sound decisions when dealing with uncomfortable and challenging discussions?
Somehow I find this absurd.
Use the brains that you possess to return to diversity and inclusion training… or you can wait until one of your staff makes a very poor decision in front of a dozen individuals with cell phones, who will provide film at 11 and you will use some of you well paid insurance funds, to ease the victims pain.
