I’m paying as non-resident fee of $56.00 per month plus $5 on Monday & Wednesday.
For my first two weeks I paid 12.50 on Monday & Tuesday.
Not happy that I paid month fee and leisure pool not available for class!

I am a nonresident and already pay a higher annual fee. I don't feel that charging for the aquatic classes is fair, since all other types of classes are included in the membership. By adding this burden of additional cost, You are discriminating against people who have arthritis and need water therapy. Please remove the additional fee for the aqua classes.

I am a senior and take the aquatic classes to help with arthritis. I find the class fees on top of membership fees a burden.

many elderly no longer have silver sneakers and have to pay even more for a aquasize class these classes are essential to the elderly many of which including me are severely arthritic

I had discussed this with a gentleman involved in the decision making, His concern was the overcrowding of the class if there was no fee. I disagreed then and I disagree now. A limit of participants can be set can be set and overcrowding will not be a problem.

Please consider doing away with the extra fee for the aqua exercise program. As a swimmer doing laps I do not pay. As a participant in aqua exercise I have to pay. Taking other classes, there are no extra fees. Please look into the equity of this and make a decision based on the fairness.

I find it extremely unjust that as a full time member I am g go orced to pay for classes when people swimming in the lanes next to me or using the main part of the leisure pool are doing so at no extra charge. If I must pay extra to use the pool than charge everyone who uses the pool the same fee each time they use the pool.

these classes are attended by primarily senior citizens. In these difficult financial times, charging an additional fee for these classes puts an undue strain on a limited group of members.

Aquatic exercise is beneficial for people of all ages who have injuries and physical limitations. It seems unfair to charge extra for these classes if you do not charge extra for other group exercise classes. I am 47 years old. As a nurse and mother/caregiver of a disabled young adult, I have back, hip and knee pain every day. Aquatic exercise was recommended to me by my doctor. I can not use the other equipment in the facility due to my physical condition. The same is true for many people with limited mobility and chronic health issues. Please consider eliminating the extra fee for aquatic fitness so it may be accessible to more community members.

Membership is expensive enough especially for us seniors who do not have Silver Sneakers. The fees discourages participation especially if we want to take multiple aquacise classes a week.

If these classes are to "maintain" these pools with the nominal fee, then all groups using the pools should also pay the same nominal fee per person - i.e. swim teams, learn to swim, lap swimmers, etc. etc. The staffing needed for all these groups are lifeguards. The aquasize classes should not have to cover the lifeguard pay for their classes, if the other groups do not pay for a lifeguard.

Aquacise classes should either be billed independently for non-members (with a higher rate for non-residents) and SHOULD be included in the membership fee.

I fully support this petition. As a senior citizen, water exercise is easier for me and many other seniors and we shouldn't have to pay extra for it.
