Every teacher needs to move to the new school with the every student and maintain their current position!

I am writing to respectfully request that my [Childs Raissa Flores and Valentina Flores], be allowed to continue attending [POTOMAC VIEW ELEMENTARY SCHOOL] and remain with their current teachers and the administrative personnel. At the new school. Since starting at this school, my children have shown positive academic progress, feel emotionally stable, and have developed a strong relationship with their teachers and administratives. Changing Teachers and administrative personal at this time could interrupt their learning and cause unnecessary stress for all. I truly appreciate the hard work of the staff at Prince William County Schools, and I believe that maintaining consistency is in the best interest of my children’s education.

Ensuring these vulnerable students have continued support from the teachers that they’ve grown comfortable with is essential to ensuring that they will have future success.

I’m So sad about this news. We really want to see our children’s with their teachers.

Moving students and school staff is a good option. If it has worked excellently where it is now, it will continue to work where they move, and thank you for considering us for your school's activities.

I think transparency is totally lacking in the current decision making process. Teachers who have been teaching at Potomac View deserve better treatment and respect. They should be given priority to move to the new school in their current positions! These dedicated educators have been an integral part of their student’s lives and should be allowed to continue for a smooth transition for everyone. All teachers currently at P.V.E.S. should not be required to go through interviews and submission of resumes again. Those dedicated, hard working teachers deserve better treatment and consideration during the relocation process!

Please make choices that are best for the students.

Community is important. Leave these children where they feel loved and supported by the people they have come to know and trust

Please don’t shut down this school i grew up here and i want my sister to continue here.

I’m not happy about my child having to leave this school. She is in 2nd grade. She is upset about it and it would be nice to have familiar faces from the teachers from there school to move on with them also to make it easier on the children having to move schools. I have had 3 other children that attended the school and graduated.

My daughter has been in Potomac view since she was in kindergarten. She has loved all her teachers. Please keep the teachers and the students together.

Keep the students with the teachers they know and feel safe with. Consider the trauma of a new school and strangers this will have on the children.
