People have suffered greatly through all the lockdowns. So many have lost loved ones through the pandemic and are in need of mental healthcare urgently, this is no time to lesson the support from 20 psychological sessions to 10 Sessions

I am a licensed psychologist providing telehealth and in-person geriatric psychology services. Geriatric patients would be much better served if they had access to psychologists who see them weekly and could prescribe the psychoactive medications they need based on frequent observation and collaborative relationships with staff.

Services are sorely lacking, patients can’t get access and fewer doctors are going into psychiatric . Seeing our patients on medication weekly, not 6 months out, can only lead to better outcomes and less tax dollars spent.
