Psychologists, Mental Health Providers & General Public Support of RxP for Psychologists

This is a serious need! I implore legislatures to consider this bill across both sides to assist the constituents they serve!

In order for patients to receive timely care, it is necessarry for additional providers to be included as RxP's. Please move forward with allowing this in respect to those out there needing help.

I urge you to support RxP for Psychologists. It is life-changing, in the best of ways, for people in need of this highly specialized resource for mental health issues.

I live in a state where psychologists have prescription privileges (Illinois), and studies have shown that such privileges increase access to specialty and general medical care. Positive experiences with healthcare professionals enhance the public's view of healthcare in general, and do not jeopardize or threaten one medical professional over another. I urge you to make mental healthcare access a priority by granting psychologists prescriptive authority in your state!

I’ve been operating in private practice for over a decade now and this could make incredible progress and healing for people that desperately need it.

This is greatly needed, and with the right training, psychologists are in much better position to manage their patients meds then a medical provider who sees them once every two months for five minutes.

Please, our communities need more mental health assistance.

With proper training, psychologists can join their prescribing colleagues to continue helping those with mental health needs.

This bill will help the public greatly by providing highly trained, competent clinical psychologists to prescribe psychotropics. This is an obvious step forward for the advancement of humane and ethical behavioral healthcare.

Greater access to mental healthcare including medications is urgently needed in Colorado, and psychologists are best positioned to provide combination medication and behavioral treatment.
