Psychologists, Mental Health Providers & General Public Support of RxP for Psychologists

A necessity.

I support this very much!

I'm a licensed psychologist who is going through the clinical psychopharmacological training as well and fully support this proposal.

I have long hoped this would become available in CO and clearly support prescription privilege for psychologists.

This is such an important proposal! It can be lifesaving!

As a practicing psychologist in a state with RxP for psychologists, I have seen first hand how RxP increases access in a safe and effective manner to better serve patients. This is incredibly important and critical in the midst of the current national mental health crisis.

We need many many more prescribers to meet CO’s needs!

This will be life-changing for thousands of people who have not been helped by current practices.

As a military psychologist I support RxP in Colorado. If properly trained psychologists are allowed to prescribe to our service members in the military, properly trained psychologists are also equipped to prescribe and serve the communities in Colorado.

This is an appropriate measure that would simultaneously ensure provider experience and promote patients care.

Yes to this bill- in support of me Tal health psychologists - social workers- prescribing psychotropic medicine.

I am licensed to practice psychology in Arizona, where I live, and also in New Mexico and Colorado. I offer telehealth services to residents of all three states, and my work is greatly enhanced by being able to refer client to the prescribing psychologists in New Mexico. I don't have this advantage in Arizona or Colorado, and it takes several weeks or a few months to help a patient be evaluated for psychotropic medications. I fully support the RxP effort in Colorado (and in my home state of Arizona).

Please pass this important legislation!

This is VERY much needed in Colorado. It is something that will allow for my clients needs to be served better. As of now, we have the LONGEST waiting lists and this will help solve that problem in a really big way

LCSWs should be allowed as well under medical supervision

The national shortage in medication providers leaves your constituents at risk. Suicide, school shootings, domestic violence, addictions, homelessness, and more are all too common. Psychologists have extensive training in prescribing medication, and have never been found to have harmed anyone since they have been prescribing in other states and federal programs for years.
