Two of my three children were lucky enough to have Ms. Corritore. She was able to see things in my children that no other teacher, or I as a parent was able to see. She brought taught them to a higher level both academically and personally. She has become lifetime family friend. It would be a shame if Baylis loses such a dedicated teacher, mentor and friend to so many families.

Ms. Corritore is the best thing that has happened to my son in his educational life. She has the ability to get to know her students and finds the ways to reach them so that they reach their potential. She is am inspiration to the teaching field. Why is she being taken away from the students of Baylis?

Baylis will never be the same without ms Corritore. I'm extremely upset she is being forced to transfer to another school. Who is running the show on this one? Keep ms Corritore at Baylis! The local community is outraged by this decision!

Ms. Corritore needs to stay at Baylis!!! Ms. Corritore is a dedicated teacher who year after year takes each individual student in her class and builds not only very strong technical skills of math and reading, but she becomes a mentor to these kids throughout their years at Baylis and beyond. She builds confidence and a love of learning. Her positive outlook and her love of our kids is easy to see. Ms. Corritore goes above and beyond for our kids and we want to show the board that we will go above and beyond to keep her at Baylis!

Have heard nothing but amazing things about her and already had my fingers X'd that my son would get her next year. What a loss!

Ms.Corritore is essential to these children lives and all of ours as parents. This can NOT happen. She should stay at Baylis and continue to be a part of the school community. She has done so much already. Let her continue doing the amazing job she has already begun.

I have one child who is a sophomore in college and one child halfway through high school. Syosset has many great teachers, but Ms. Corritore is much much more than that! I'm not sure why this transfer is taking place, but I can honestly say that Baylis will not be the school it was without her presence! Shame on Syosset Central School District for allowing this to happen!!

Ms. Corritore is more than a good teacher that we are in danger of losing. She is part of the heart and soul of Baylis and our school will suffer without her!

Ms. Corritore is a remarkable teacher who makes a positive difference in the lives of our children. A "favorite" in our family and obviously the Baylis community. A teacher who truly cares about her students.

Ms. Corritore is one of the best teachers I've encountered at Baylis. She took the time to understand my child and teach in a way that best suited his learning patterns. She brought out the best in him and helped him build the skills and confidence he needed to continue to be successful in the past several years. She communicated well with me, and I always felt she was his advocate and biggest fan. I bet she makes every child feel that special. It would be a tremendous loss to no longer count her as our own,
