My mom has been very sick ever since they introduced the ENFIT product in 2015 to her.

The ENFit desing in not appropriate for many consumer needs in enteral feeding. Consumers should have freedom of choice and a fair marketplace of products for enteral feeding. It should not be a mandated by government agencies on how enteral consumers deliver their nutrition.

I think Mary should have the right to choose.

This would limit individuals from eating a healthy, affordable, blended diet.

Everyone should have a choice

Enfit would be an unfair burden for me due to the restrictions of the connectors. I want a larger, easier tube that I can put real food through - enfit ain't it!

I believe tube feeders should have a choice in products.

This appears to really need more study to make it more effective

Why would there ever be a change with feeding tubes that are safe and support ongoing life for those that cannot eat or nourish there bodies in any other way. This is their lifeline and if it's working then it doesn't need fixing unless it is better, not made unsafe. We oppose a mandated single connector option, namely ENFit.

It is crucial that those who are tube fed have a right to decide which connector is best suited for their particular needs. Each situation and formula is different. Changing to using only one type of connector will interfere and prohibit life saving blended nutritional formula from being able to be administered to those who cannot tolerate commercial brand tube feedings or choose a blended whole food alternative.

The ENfit is not wanted by the users of feeding tubes or the Doctors who understand how they work. No government agency so go against the patients who use and know what works for them. Stop this GEDSA petition to eliminate free market enterprise by forcing their product down patients throats. If the product is not wanted by the consumers than it is a bad product.

We need to preserve this choice of connector. We have enough issues with out adding this limited connection option
