Ive been in chief frost's class for about a year and a half now and ive come to know him very well. Hes helped me through quite alot. Including basically preventing me from being put into foster care. Chief genuinely care a great amount about all of his students and i, along with several other of his cadets, believe that this is just completely out of hand and immature.

I have been working with Chief Frost since before my oldest son was a freshman at Sgt. Eugene Ashley High School. I had three (3) sons go through the school. My youngest had major issues from bullies. Even though he wasn't in the program, Chief reached out to him and was a huge help to him before we made the difficult decision to move him to another school. As for my oldest son, he was attacked at a football game, totally unprovoked, and because of the self control and high level of personal dignity encouraged by Chief Frost, he refused to fight back and "took the high road". My middle son, well he is a United States Marine; and, Chief played a huge role in shaping him into what he is today. I could go on to tell you how I witnessed as he personally assisted multiple students with everything from meals to finding homes, to seeking proper treatment for various personal issues. He gives so much of himself, including his own personal resources and time, to the unit, his students, their parents, and to others in general. Chief may be outspoken; but, in my personal experience, he has never done anything even remotely questionable towards his students, fellow staff, or the public in general. Chief Frost instills a sense of value in everyone he comes in contact with. He is a voice of encouragement to everyone to "be the change you want to see in your world." Our schools need more people like Chief Frost! Chief has my unwavering support. For the record, I am no longer associated with the school or NJROTC unit except by my personal choice to continue to support the current cadets and parents.

Chief Frost is an asset to our school system, and his determination and values are exactly what new Hanover county schools need more of. He's a first rate human.

Tom Frost is one of the most caring individuals I have ever met. My son was one of his cadets for four years and during that time I interacted with Chief Frost on many occasions and never once heard him utter a cross word about anyone. He genuinely cares for the students and truly looks out for their welfare. This is a travesty.

I spent two weeks and many other weekends with Chief Frost, during that time he exceeded his requirements of being an instructor just because of the amount of time and effort he put in after his 8-shift ended. His work history and record should be enough to prove chief frost is anything but a racist. I ask the BOE to reinstate Chief Frost to full time status. I would also like to add this is my personal opinion and observation and does not in any way shape or form reflect the views of any Goverment, public service agency ( or other group ) I am affiliated with.

Chief frost served his country for 23 years, and almost seamlessly transitioned into serving his community. He has been a huge influence on countless students who have passed through his class room. Spending almost every weekend and even his own down time during the summer to chaperone students on all of their events and trips. Even as far as being the bus driver for these trips. Staying at school far longer than almost every other teacher helping his students practice and learn how to be active members of the community. Students of all colors and backgrounds have became successful with his help. I am a prior student, who is now serving active duty in the U.S. NAVY.

Chief is a good person. As a parent in Royce . He has always been very professional . With the cadets and parents. I truly believe this comment was taken the wrong way ..
