A decent lobbying bill would address lobbying companies, not try to gag democracy.

The lobbying bill if past will cause considerable civil unrest because some of the issues raised are complex - too complex for politicians.

We get plenty of preaching from the Tory party about the EU being non democratic. This ammendment from the upper house of our Parliament must be supported,

In a world where young people relate to politics THROUGH organisations and issue-based politics, the gagging law is a risk to our civil and democratic freedoms.

Supporting Lord Harries amendment is a 'no brainer' for anyone who supports democracy and the right of any individuals and/or organisations like Charities to speak on important issues where they have valuable and informed experience and expertise to offer and have a non pecuniary interest. The Bill is a serious threat to both democracy and freedom of speech.

Ideas and words are powerful weapons. Our right of expression must remain. It is our democratic treasure.

freedom of speech is important and we need to make the government ,etc aware of campaigns to help people and the environment , animal care etc . without these campaigns nothing would be done to save them and help people . let us have our freedom to campaign for things that are important !!
