In a country that is said to be democratic, individuals, charities & campaining groups should be allowed to question issues/decisions made by Goverment that affect our lives. By restricting the peoples right to free speech this is undemocratic & where totalitarianism begins to take hold!

This bill should be targeting lobbyists acting for people like developers but developers lobbyists go to party conferences and buy meeting time - political parties have a vested interest in not controllong them - that is the basic problem.

It is extraordinary that a Bill to control lobbying should target organisations that represent ordinary people, organisations such as charities and trade unions, instead of big business interests
