Support Cambrian Teachers' salary request

I believe that quality teachers need to be paid to a point they can enjoy teaching children without worrying about their financial status

We can’t afford to turn our teachers away, looking for better opportunities. They have created a wonderful culture of compassion and passion for our students and their growth. Our teachers partner so well together. They are experienced, dedicated and thriving. Let’s not change this great momentum. Our teachers deserve fair and competitive pay!

i agree with most of folks here. I rather have quality teachers for our kids than having high tech devices (computer/tablet). Please give our great teachers salary increase!

The last thing our children need is MORE technology in the classrooms. Study after study from health professionals highlight the negative effect too much screen time. They need less in schools. Please spend the district resources on retaining our dedicated and deserving teachers. They are the reason our students succeed, not the technology in the classroom.

We have an obligation to put teachers first and give them a wage that reflects their time and devotion to educating our children. We will lose these valuable teachers to other districts. You get what you pay for! Keep our teachers here and increase their pay!

Teachers work very hard and deserve this

We’ve been at Fammatre for 3 years and the teachers there do above and beyond for our children. Fammatre’s teachers make sure daily that our children are save and educated. They deserve salaries that reflect their care for our future leaders.

Don’t short the teachers for tech

If you want to retain caring, talented, committed teachers then you have to pay appropriately.

I would rather retain quality teachers than have tech upgrades. In a place like Silicon Valley where we have so many tech resources this does not seem like funds are resources are being used in the best way possible

I totally support our teachers in getting an raise in salary. Cost of living has increased steadily in the Bay Area , and our teachers need this.

We support our teachers in their current request for a salary increase in line with the average increases being negotiated in districts throughout our region. We ask that the Board of Trustees of the Cambrian School District PRIORITIZE teacher salaries as the FIRST and MOST IMPORTANT matter in its upcoming budget considerations.

I love our teachers!!!!

I volunteer at Sartorette and see how much work the teachers put into teaching. Especially with a full class. They are with our children for at least 6 hours guiding and teaching. They deserve to get their raise.

Children are our future. I’d rather pay someone who will makes an impact in my children’s life than other stuff.

I do not understand why teacher's salaries are often tied to their work conditions. You shouldn't have to choose between necessary supplies and salaries. It makes it look like teachers are greedy instead of what they are actually doing which is fighting for a living wage. The Governor's COLA decrease was horrendous. Teachers should be paid a fair and equitable wage for this valley. We are losing young, vibrant teachers every year because they cannot afford to stay here. Experienced teachers will seek other districts that are competitively paying their teachers. Teachers work hard, would lay down their lives for our children, they DESERVE more!
