As someone with dietary restrictions, including wheat, I very much understand the need for specialized cafes, and I was/am looking forward to visiting Cafe Henkel on my next trip to Melbourne

We need more of these cafes/restaurants around the whole country. Please let these people succeed. There are more and more people with food allergies and it's nice to know there will be places to eat apart from home ☺

Not celiac, FODMAP. But GF usually means wheat free, which is a step in the right direction.

It will be a great loss to us local residents if Cafe Henkel cannot expand.

This would be a great advantage to all those who suffer from Coeliac. It’s hard enough to find without good cafes having to close

Coeluac disease is such an isolating condition at times. It is so vitally important to have good quality gluten free and especially coeliac safe venues to dine out at and to be able to have a function where I wouldn't worry about the risk of cross contamination would be amazing

This is an invaluable service that is offered. It would be very sad to see this place close

Great cafe giving support to coeliacs. The Function room next door would be a useful adjunct. It is very smartly decorated and I cannot see why there would be any cause for concern running such a function room in this location.

Cafe Henkel provide a unique and vital service to a community who otherwise miss out! The business is one of the very few inclusive cafe’s for those with Coeliac Disease!

It is vital that places that can provide people with celiac disease to get out and eat safely should be allowed to operate.

The council should not be limiting a business which can offer a safe place for people with coeliac disease to eat and also provide job opportunities.

This business will add to the area in a positive way. Apart from fantastic food it will give grieving people a nice place to reflect on lost loved ones. I believe some of the objectors should take a look at their own premises and clean up. This business deserves to bt there.
