Years later this is still great initiative to increase amenity, vibrancy & sense of place for more locals in this corner of Richmond. The park should not just be for kids, dogs & neighbours bordering the park. Yes to more & varied hospo and services in the area.

As a past resident in Manton St I would often walk to the park. I feel a small cafe like the one described is sorely needed.

It is so important to support local business' that are about sustainable development of a council asset that is otherwise dormant and unappreciated. This then supports the greater communities vision for added opportunities to include both community and family friendly urban spaces to enjoy for the long term. The park is under-utilised and I am a local resident who is about supporting other local residents trying to do good for our community, Melbourne is all about food, culture and we should be embracing this as it is a special location that will add amenity to the park and bring families and activity to the park which is what it should be for.

This is a great addition to the park, not only will it encourage people to get to the park and utilize the grounds it will also provide a great hub for the area out of the hustle and bustle.
