This ice rink would be amazing. It is exactly what our community needs. It would do wonders to make it feel livable and people focused again in a time when it seems like bigger development is taking over the East End. Please - say yes to the ice rink!

This would be the best thing to ever happen to shadyside! I play hockey, but haven't been able to recently because the closest rink is in Harmerville. This would help me, and every other hockey player. From Central Catholic to Pitt, this rink would help out so many.

While I do not live in Shadyside, I can appreciate the community's frustration with the added congestion being proposed. A hockey rink and an indoor track would be a welcome addition to a lovely neighborhood.

Yes. Please support the Ice Rink. The volume of kids in this sport is growing. We need to encourage this sport more. I agree more Apartments without transit == More traffic.

i am in strong support of using the Armory to build a new ice rink! we have no ice rinks in the city for our kids to play hockey! my daughter plays hockey and we travel to warrendale to do it!

Absolutely support this plan. driving kids out to the rinks is a major bummer right now. Definitely hate the apartment-plan. You'll hate a bunch of modern-construction apartments too in 15 years but not the rink.

Another high density apartment building in a neighborhood that is already full of of them. This will make traffic worse in a city that doesn't have a mass transit system that can support an influx of people. An ice rink and community space would be a better use of the Hunt Armory.

I would hate to see this beautiful building used by a small segment of the community. It should be converted into a facility that can be used by the East End community. The ice rink is a excellent option.

The Hunt Armory has a long history in East Liberty. When I was young it was a venue for circuses, car shows and more. Please preserve it to become a community center once again. It could have a major positive impact on the area and the city. Make our city more livable, not less.

The Hunt Armory is a real jem of a building. It is perfectly suited for a hockey/ice skating facility. The city needs a venue such as this. I am all for repurposing historic buildings and this is a perfect opportunity to provide the community with a top notch destination which will benefit all residents, especially families.

As an East Ender I support an amenity based design that is open to the whole community, and not another office or apartment development- area is saturated already with hundreds of units still coming on line. An Ice Ring is a great option or something along those lines!
