Our families and children need a indoor place to play and connect in the winter. No where in the east end can we do that or even in the city. This is a viable option for Doo many.

PLEASE don't make the former Armory into more apts! Housing is an important part of the "Quality of Life" equation however, so are cool community-based recreational spaces & community-based arts spaces which we need SO MUCH MORE OF THAN MORE APTS!!!

Enough is enough of cheap quality new buildings in the East End. It's is an overcrowded mess. Traffic nightmares and no parking. No more rentals. We need single family mid range homes. We are losing the residential property market to corporate fat cats. I guess you get all your political money from special interest corporate players. Let's have a win and a better community for the tax payers.

Our children were students at Sacred Heart and we belong to the parish. We would love nothing more than to see the Hunt Armory become a community space, rather than a residential or office one. Please consider the community. When we have ALL the new building being built with apartments and retail space in walking distance, we need something more for the community.

12 year East-End resident- an indoor ice rink is one amenity sorely lacking in this area of Pittsburgh. Encourage new high-density as part of N Pointe Breeze & Larimar revitalization; it's not needed in Shadyside!

As an East End resident, I strongly support an Ice Rink instead of more apartments. We have plenty of apartments, we need more community spaces to keep our community vibrant!

This is a great idea...
- Urban children would have the opportunity to participate in a great sport. (the little pens program is great and cheap)
- I'm sure local colleges would love the close ice and their NCAA and Club teams would use the facility
- There could be youth and adult tournaments, bringing more people in from out of town, boosting tourism.
- It could be a beautiful facility and would be awesome for figure ice skating shows

As a resident of District 8, I believe additional housing units are not needed nearly as much as creative community recreational sites to make this a desirable living area.

As a current resident, Ifeel as though this ice rink would better serve the east end neighborhood than another over-priced, unaffordable Walnut Capital apartment complex. Please think of the community.
