Enough with the apartments in an already densely populated area! This will nicely complement the other developments going on in the area.

ice rinks are all so far away from the city. this would make ice skating more accessible in the city.

It can be designed as an ice rink and converted to other uses such as squash and indoor tennis by turning off the freezing system and draining the water.

an ice rink/ recreation center will be a privately-owned public amenity for the neighborhood and for the city

What a great way to provide an activity that all ages can share.

I support the building of a skating ring. It fits perfectly the design and function of the building.

I think that an ice skating rink in this area would be a wonderful, long overdue idea. Other than Schenley Park in the winter, city residents have to travel to rinks outside of the city. Many city residents do not have easy access to those locations and do not get the benefit of enjoying a wonderful family activity and learning a sport that is fun and good exercise for our youth, as well as good for everyone one else. There are many new apartments and commercial spaces that have been made available over the past several years that have not even had any tenants or commercial activity. We do not need another luxury apartment building or office space/restaurant space. Let us give our residents the convenience of a place where families, college students, and everyone of all ages can go to have fun and share a sense of community.

What a great idea! The East End needs something like this.

This is happening on my street. Emerson street. I've owned a home here for the past 8 years, and have been a home owner in Shadyside for the past 21 years. My children also attend the elementary school directly across the street. This option benefits the community. I hope that my opinion is taken into consideration.

An ice rink would be a benefit to the property values, the children and adults and the intire east end of the city.. People of all origins would be welcome.

The ice skating rink is much better than a business incubator and an apartment building.
