YES - - I support the ICE RINK idea for the HUNT ARMORY site. This is the best option to serve the COMMUNITY. NOT more apartments that only profit the owners/ developers.

As a former hockey player, it was sad to see the ice rink in the Southside close a number of years ago. With it's closing, we lost the only year round rink in the city, requiring a trip to the suburbs. It would be great to bring a year round rink back into the city!

The facility was always about community support. It needs to stay that way and we need to increase the vibrance and dynamism of urban living... walking and biking to great facilities.
This proposal does that. It also will add revenue to the community, support property values, and provide the type of facility that is only available in the suburbs.
Absolutely critical that high density apartments are not the options chosen.

Our area already has more than enough apartments. Build a rink so kids and adults have somewhere within city limits to skate.

Yes, an ice rink, but even better, a multi-use sports facility. But a year-round ice rink would definitely be better that more apartments and offices!

I love the idea of this building being used for the residents of the city versus yet another apartment building. We can barely get around Shadyside now with all the congestion.

Please use this great space for a great attraction like an ice rink. I went to Sacred Heart and would love to see that use instead of more apartments or offices.
