This is a great opportunity for the East End to gain an outstanding public resource that promotes community, urban living, health, and the local economy. There is no doubt that this will help to sustain the community far more than additional apartments or offices ever could.

recreation and community space would be a valuable asset to shadyside/east liberty/highland park. There are so many apts going up - do we really need more right now? Or do we need to expand what makes the east end the best place to live!

We need to have this ice skating facility at the Hunt Armory. To turn this beautiful facility into "apartments, retail, and offices" would be a travesty. The community deserves to have a family oriented facility that they can attend without having to leave the city. This is the perfect answer, and by the way, would make the communities stronger and help to keep this area alive and growing in a good way. DO IT!
