I've used this shop for years -chaotic at times but full of useful art supplies, stationary & unexpected treasures. Also, they support many community projects. Keep it going !

This shop has been there since I was a kid and I’m in my late 30s. Hackney has changed so much and not every change has been good. It is becoming a place I no longer recognise, a place my children will not be able to have some of the same experience I did. Argun is one of the few places left that have been a part of Hackney for decades and for them to under threat of termination is do out of order. Leave them be and let them continue serving the very community that makes hackney, hackney!

Argun printed the funeral service brochers for both of my grandparents. The stupid landlord can't break the lease!

Argus is an institution in Hackney. Their customer service is excellent and they are part of the always smaller variety of diverse independent shops that makes Hackney interesting. LEAVE THEM WHERE THEY ARE!

My first ever job was doing a Saturday shift at Argun, more than a quarter of a century ago - it was at the heart of its community then, and still is now. If landlords like this have their way, Hackney will become a dystopia: identikit bars at night, stripped of life during the day. Save Argun!
