That's crazy! Best outcome would be if you could find somewhere else with less awful landlords. But we need you to stay!

The ugly side of gentrification in action. We should protect the local community

I fully support this business.
However, it's a little unclear from the description what has happened. If the landlord is within their legal right, then there isn't much that can be done - that's just the nature of property rights.
Could it be possible to move to another vacant shop? There are a few in that area.

This is simply inhumane and a terrible loss to the community. Stop this now.

This is one of the best shops in Hackney for stock and service. It would be so sad to lose it.

Argun is a treasured and vital part of our community, and I strongly object to the move to cancel their lease.

Argun have provided craft and school materials for our son, everything else we have ever needed and they have supported us to make and print the orders of service for two family funerals. They are friendly and complete experts at what they do. A cornerstone of Hackney!

Argun is one of the most useful and loved shops in Hackney Central. Useful not only to the many artists in the community but also to teachers, students, families and children wanting to spend their pocket money. To lose this valuable asset to the community and its many visitors would be a tragedy.

Argun is a key part of our community and for them to be forced out is something deeply unpalatable. Let them pay their rent and let them serve our community, and get your greedy mitts off what we hold dear.

There are hardly any good and decent stationers/printers in east london. Argun look after everyone from students needing printing and art supplies, and kids spending pocket money to people wanting to people wanting to send an email because they don’t have a computer at home. It would be a horrible loss to the community.

This shop is an institution, there is nowhere else to go for stationary and arts supplies especially anything suitable for children. You’re pushing people to buy more and more online and kill the local retail community
