Support Argun Stationers against unlawful lease termination

I’ve used this shop for 32 years - it’s part of the history of Hackney - and one of the few printers around. So many use it if they don’t have their own printer at home and value a helping hand..

Have been shopping at Argun for years. We need it!

We’ve used Argun for 30 years for personal, school community printing. They’re a local institution!

There is no other shop like this in the community. Its services are unique and its staff understand what good service means.

Argun is a wonderful shop and very important in our community

From printing and laminating to office and art supplies, Argun printers makes essential tools available for local businesses, charities, independent workers and families. It’s a resource that bolster communities and create opportunities for ideas to thrive. These types of independent businesses are left out of planning proposals because they support such a diverse cross section of local residents that their necessity can be forgotten. But the hole they leave is never replaced, and the community suffers. I’ve scoured the maps and can’t find a similar resource in East London. The people of Hackney need Argun Printers.

Argument Stationers are an amazing Hackney resource. Every time I go in them to print posters or leaflets or flyers there is always a queue of people doing the same for local community projects, business promotions, charity projects and more. It is a fantastic place with exceptional customer service that has been at the heart of the community for years! It would be an absolute scandal if they were forced to move on.

A massive much needed place for the community. Providing a service we all need

Attempting to close Argun Printers is an absolute disgrace. They are one of the few independent interesting and extremely useful shops left in central Hackney, providing a service for children and adults alike. Surely having an existing, thriving business is the best advert to encourage other businesses into the area and ArchCo (if it is them) have proved a dismal failure in achieving any significant numbers of long, term, sustainable businesses which provide a service to the community. I use Argun on a regular basis to purchase gifts, art materials and when needed their printing services and support this petition wholeheartedly.

Great shop that I use all the time. Enriches the high street!
