Support Argun Stationers against unlawful lease termination

This is very sad to read. I done my school work experience at Argun Stationers many years ago when I was 14 years old which I thoroughly enjoyed. I hope the initial agreement is something the landlord will honour and put an end to the worry and distress being experienced by the those involved.

We need this shop to remain its part of the heritage

We need a stationers in Hackney - definitely not another leisure led weekend focused destination venue. Just a good shop -as Argun has been for the last 20 or so years!!

I have used this terrific shop for decades. It's always full, the staff are very helpful. It is a shop of genuine community value.

Argun is a necessity for me, they should stay

I am a professional artist and I have been using Argun’s since the mid 90’s. The family let me work in the back using the photocopier at the beginning of my career, before I could afford a studio, as I would work for magazines and record labels. Some of that work would end up on records by bands the Prodigy, and iconic clubs like the Blue Note. I still use it today for art supplies. It should be preserved in its original location as part of the community, not turfed out.

Very valuable member of the community. One of the few independent left on the high street providing excellent customer service.

We really must save these essential local independent businesses. It’s so important theses services stay within our community

This shop is the heart of the community. It will be a disgrace to see this shop removed or relocated.

This is the only stationary shop, supplying everything kids need at home and school and more. The printing shop is excellent, we need this shop in Hackney

Argun is an asset to the community and has been for many years. It would be a travesty for them to be closed down.

Argun is a community assett that has served our Borough magnificently over the years. Why would they want to close it down? It makes no sense whatsoever and will only be a massive inconvenience to all the customers frequently use its services.
