We don’t need any more night club. This shop is more supportive for the people in Hackney.

This shop helped me to get all of the supplies I needed throughout university. They service numerous individuals and businesses in the Hackney area, and deserve their place in their current location.

Argun is an institution, and a lot more loved and needed part of the community than any event space.

So unjust to remove well loved businesses when an area is improved. Stop excluding those who have made Hackney what it is, and support them to thrive instead. We don’t need more high street names, corporations, and finance interests changing the face of our beloved community.

If we lose around stationers there will not be any stationers in Hackney. If relocated to morning lane it will be hard for customers especially disabled ones to get access to the shop and. Due to it being located as you come out of the station or near the narrow way it is easy to find. Nearly all the shops in the narroway and restaurants on mare street, Graham Road all rely on Argun Stationers to Print leaflets, menus so on and deliver to the shops for free if nearby. If located to Morning Lane it would be inconvenient for both Argun and other businesses in printing and getting them within a hour delivered to their business.

This is disgraceful hackney council, this is one of our real community shops in hackney for 33 years
They assisted in pandemic with community spirit and you are asking them to close the shop to make way for a club or other venue. This is the very heart of hackney you rip out with gentrification, the print memorial cards in an hour and bend over back wards with assistance . Please stop this and rethink
