This is the best shop in all of Homerton. It brings me so much joy to have such amazing access to craft materials by such a lovely team at the shop. I can't believe they're trying to get rid of it. Absolutely ridiculous. Please don't evict Argun!

We need to fight for small local businesses to stay open and profitable - they are corner stones of our communities, supporting economically whole families and socially the wider local community.

We don't need more bars and restaurants. We need shops where we can actually shop!

An institution! Would be a great loss to mare and the surrounding community, not just of people who live there but also work in the area.

We've used this shop for many years. It provides such an important service for Hackney businesses and residents. There is no need for more nightclubs and bars, The ones we already have are struggling, so what is the logic of pushing out an established, successful business to replace it with one which is likely to fail? That makes no social nor economic sense.

Moving a local service business which relies partly on its visibility to passing trade, into a segregated area intended for high-end retail is selfish nonsense.
Their landlord's attempt to terminate their lease early without just cause is unlawful, as well as disgraceful.

We have enough “pubs, clubs, restaurants and bars” already. Long live Argun!

Ive lived in and loved hackney since 1999 and this shop is one that I’ve used consistently since then! It is appalling that their landlord is treating them this way after 33 years of serving them and the community. Put a stop to this immediately.

Argun is such a great useful shop. I use it for all my studies, my children’s things, my own art materials. It offers a friendly supportive environment, they are always willing to help you out. The location is so useful.
