It is inconceivable that a landlord is able to behave in this manner. The shop is always busy, has a large, strong local following and supports many other local businesses. This cannot happen and offer of relocation misses the point entirely. Apart from anything else, as a community we absolutely don't need more bars in the area.

Hackney does not need more night time economy zones. It needs local businesses like Argus to serve Hackney’s diverse community and their needs.

This is only shop selling a full range of stationary in the area including products for children. I’ve used them for years and they contribute to the area, they are the main reason I visit the high street to shop, and would be a huge loss to Hackney Central if they were forced to move after decades of serving the community.

This is the only shop of its sort in our area and is valued by students of all ages and adults too. Hands off our stationers!

I am now retired, but have been using Argun printers for over 40 years An essential and exceptional stationers and print shop. There is something seriously wrong with our local democracy when a shop like this is under threat.

This store has been a staple to the community for a long time I don’t believe that terminating there’s leash is something that should be done because they do not fit the area

Argun are a Community asset and benefit to the community should be more important than investor‘s financial interest . I want the council to support local Business not international Financial greed

I am signing this petition in support of Argun Printers & Stationers, a long-standing independent business that has been part of this community for decades. Shops like this are more than just places to buy things. They give the area its character, support local people, and make the high street feel human and connected.
Losing Argun would be a real loss to the neighbourhood, especially for families, schools, and residents who rely on local services close to home. I strongly urge those involved to listen to the community and find a way for Argun to remain in its current location.
