You did not make a mistake, doctor. You caught the attention of professional victims and perpetrators of victim culture who make a living out of being vocally offended in the behalf of others, even those who know better than to buy their narrative. You do not deserve their vitriol. You deserve to be lauded as someone who helped advance humanity's understanding of the universe by leaps through sheer effort and determination.

This is a fine example of how the human race cannot go without something to be up in arms over. Mr. Taylor, you and the Rosetta team achieved something ground breaking, and what do the negative people of the world do? They attempt to tarnish a positive event in any way possible. It was petty for them to carry on the way that did. But for every one naysayer. I can promise there are tens of thousands of supporters who respect you for your accomplishments and how you've handled the situation. Keep on rocking the awesome shirts, the ones who find it "offensive" are the ones with a problem, not you.
