It's only when people concentrate more on a scientist clothes than his succes that you know our society is fucked. Feminist is a part of that.

Mr.Taylor, you've been a huge inspiration for me. As someone who aspires to be an astrophysicist, you accomplishments have inspired me and motivated me. My appreciation for you is beyond words. I loved your shirt. As a woman I saw nothing wrong with it. Girls can be sexy without being oppressed, and I'm sorry people can't see the difference. Keep doin' what you're doin'.

Mr Taylor, please continue your incredible work for the advancement of mankind. I dream of leading a life that follows in the footsteps of great thinkers and doers like you and all of the members of the Rosetta team. I'm sorry your moment in the sun was stolen and violated by a group of vicious nobodies who are so uncivilized and so self centered that they would attack you for no reason other than to make their names off of your pain. They are the broken and unloved remnants of a poisonous political movement that is soon for the gutter. You and your colleagues lead humanity at the edge of the future. Never forget that, and wear your accomplishments, and shirt, with pride.

Dear Matt, I am very grateful for what you and your team has done for us all humans. I hope you are nopt upset because some individuals only pay attention to their own stereotypes and do not see the Big Picture. My respect to you!

The abomination that has come from this, the pure denial of someones cosmos sized achievement, is horrific to witness. Matt Taylor, you are a legend, you are going into the books as a martyr for freedom of expression. Showing that shirt to thank your friend and recieving so much hate for it is horrible, and i hope you will keep doing what you do best. Move the boundaries of modern knowledge into a new level and keep compiling milestone after milestone. You have our support, and we will back you ALWAYS, whatever piles of crap are thrown at you, we will defend you with all our might.

I hope that you won't feel bad because of some stupid feminists anymore. As a girl who is from Turkey, I appreciate what you and your team have done.

I just want to say that, as a woman studying to be a computer engineer, I personally don't see anything wrong or offensive in Matt Taylor's shirt. Nor do I see it as one example of why women in general don't choose areas where the majority is male (as I have read somewhere). People should pay more attention to what he's saying and doing than what he's wearing, we should not judge a book by it's cover! Congrats to Rosetta's team. Matt doesn't have anything to be sorry for, people nowadays just pick on everything and then some... I actually find the shirt cute/funny.

Matt...I am so so sorry that all of this happened. This should have been one of the greatest times in your life, but someone with no tact and nothing better to do ruined it. Please don't ever stop pushing to extend the limits of human innovation. You are an amazing person and that shirt is awesome and I want one. This whole even has really made me question whether I can continue to call myself a feminist. I used to think it just meant an all-encompassing term that meant "Everyone, regardless or where and to whom and of what status they were born, should have the same rights, respect, and opportunities". I don't think I can continue to stand by this word if women who call themselves feminists can continue to act this way. Matt, you have all of my support, please keep on inspiring the next generation with your ambition, intelligence, and heart. We are all behind you, even when we are millions of miles away.
