Ads in malls are much worse in terms of objectification, and those are in public spaces. People should be able to wear anything they please on their own bodies. People should really gather all the information on something before making a judgment on it. I'm sure most of them don't even realize the shirt was made by a female. It's more a taste of style and preference, all humans should have the freedom to wear what they please. Not to mention Matt Taylor has done a lot for humanity by working on the projects he has, not that accomplishments should overshadow bigotry, but I don't think that's what happened in this case either. I just think he's a good person, that the internet decided to lash out at because most people feel entitled, even when they are in the wrong.

Keep wearing that shirt. You landed a spacecraft on a comet. They didn't do shit. You deserve to wear whatever you like.

As someone who has been shunned for wearing funny clothes in my snob University, i want to congratulate Matt and the Rosetta team for showing that you can be smart, professional, and yourself all at the same time

Dr. Taylor, I think you are an amazing individual and that your contributions to science are awe inspiring. I was very disappointed to hear that armchair feminists online had attacked you for your shirt. I am a woman, and personally think your shirt was really nifty. Keep up the good work and don't let the tumblr feminists get you down!!! Much love! <3

I want a signed t-shirt from you. In all seriousness, your work has been overshadowed by something very trivial. Lets forget the trivial part and focus and on your work.

Don't let bunch of ignorant people without proper knowledge of parallel parking art bully and break you! You did nothing wrong and you shouldn't care for their malicious and jellous comments. You are great man! I do feel sorry, and it bringfs me to tears that you cried over their miserable understanding of free thinking. I think you must be a great man in every way possible, man who got such well designed t-shirt can't be bad. I am sorry, we are sorry, we were not there to support and protect you when you were attacked by those who think they are worthy to judge a man over his choice of wardrobe, rather of achievement he acomplished with his team. Once again, we are sorry for they thought inside of their narrow boxes and incompetently judged you. We are with you on this matter, you have our support.

Though I personally don't like the look of the shirt, I really don't care about you wearing it, Matt! Go on with your amazing work! That's the really important thing! And wear whatever you like, because that's what gender equality is about! You rock!!
