Sad state of affairs when great scientific achievement is marred by pathetic professional victims. I support you and your shirt Matt!

No one has the right to bully someone for what they wear. It's a shame that instead of being able to enjoy a gift from a close friend and his greatest accomplishment, he has to deal with glorified internet bullies.

An accomplishment as great as what you have done should not be overshadowed just because some closed minded people didn't like what you were wearing.

What you achieved is an outstanding accomplishment; you shouldn't be bullied for something so inane. Be proud of what you did, yo. Also, that shirt was dope af and I want one.

Just wanted to show my support and admiration for all the amazing work you have done, and to show you that most people couldn't care less about what you choose to wear (I happen to think the shirt is awesome, though!). I think you're an amazing role model for young people interested in science because of what you have achieved, and that can NEVER be taken from you. In 15 years time, there will be many new scientists, of both genders, who are so because of what you and your team have strived for and managed to achieve this week, please never think any different and never apologise for who you are, or for being yourself (a good friend who doesn't see misogyny where it doesn't exist). All the best, and I hope you can enjoy your success, you've earned it.

Advancements in science are one of the only human achievements that are not as atransient as the wind. Scientists are one of the few, if only, group of people on the planet that are quantitatively making improving humanity. When the children of the future look back on this event in one hundred years, they will not care who Matt Taylor was, what he believed, his life or his history. They will care that he pushed forwards the boundaries of science and human knowledge, even if only by a fraction of a fraction.

No matter what you wear, you will always be an awesome guy, and an awesome scientist. Don't ever let anyone take that away from you. Keep being, well, awesome! One day, perhaps we can share a cigar and listen to heavy metal.

It shouldn't matter what he wears when he helped accomplish this.
