It doesn't matter what shirt he wears, especially when he landed a space craft on a moving comet.

People say nothing about women's magazines or female "stars" parading around wearing no clothes, that's fine, that's not sexist. But a scientist wears a shirt with some fantasy style art on it and you all lose it? Get a grip and a sense of perspective. Women can wear whatever they want so why judge him on his choice of shirt?

Congratulations, congratulations, congratulations, Mr. Taylor. I hope you one day see this petition and all the support and gratitude for your amazing accomplishments. When I read about people like you, I always wonder how you just sat down and thought, "This is going to be a damn good plan, and I'm going to make it work." You astound me, Mr. Taylor. Again, congratulations, and godspeed. I hope you're able to continue your life's work, succeed, and find more great discoveries. Sincerely, a physics lover from New Jersey.

Matt keep doing what you do best: Wear kick ass shirts, grow awesome beards, and make big leaps in space exploration. You, along with the help of others, landed a probe on a MOVING comet. Don't let the people who got offended BY A SHIRT ruin the celebration of your achievement.

Dear Matt, first of all thank you for you amazing work as a scientist in the Rosetta project. I would also like to add that I love the funky shirt and not for a momnent thought that was offensive not that this matter as people should focus on the work that you have done and not what you choose to wear. Thank Miriam A, Uk

Hey man! You're awesome. You might just be the coolest scientist I have heard about in this century. Showed me that you don't need to look dull and boring to work on such awesome things as the Rosetta mission. Respect from Estonia.
