Dr. Taylor, while I don't particularly like your shirt and wouldn't wear it myself (anime chicks aren't really my style), I will defend your right to wear it 'til the end. Congratulations on your monumental accomplishment and I'm sorry all the subhuman feminazi cunts in society felt the need to rain on your parade and ruin your day of celebration. Dr Taylor, you made history and I both congratulate and thank you for that. I was horrified to see what should've been the greatest day of your life get co-opted by a loud mouthed minority group of radical feminists the way they try to co-opt everything else. Some people just have to make it all about them but nothing can diminish your achievement. Congratulations to you and your team. Ps: as a fan of fantasy art, I think the shirt is fantastic.

You've helped humanity take a step closer to further space exploration and I am one of the thousands that appreciate the work and devotion you've done to do so. Don't fret any more thoughts over the shirt, I thought it was a kind of funny shirt but certainly not one for so many people to get offended over. I figure you just thought it was too cool to not wear and one of the proudest days of your life, maybe wore it to promote your friend's sewing skills, or even that you simply threw it on without thinking. Whatever happened, it's in the past now. You're still a well respected man and I hope you can look past all the spiteful comments because, you don't need that negativity in your life. From here on out, things should be looking up. I just don't want to be reading about you hating yourself or anything worse because of a piece of clothing. I just wish you a great and wonderful life, sir, and hope you'll continue to inspire more people entering your field of work no matter what gender, race, ethnicity, or whatever anyone else would feel offended over. :)

matt: keep rocking the badass tattoos and beard. wear whatever shirt you want. you're an example to nerds and geeks everywhere that a rocket scientist doesn't have to be a timid, invisible introvert. lots of things offend lots of people and it's not your responsibility to reshape the world to make certain entitled people feel slightly better.

Matt, I'm not a physicist, but I know enough to understand how difficult this mission was, and how important the data is. You guys have shown what the Europeans - and other for that matter - can achieve once they stop slaughtering each other. I loved the shirt and the tattoos - especially in the scene with your two predecessors! Please keep up the good work, and ignore the small minded whingers!
