Chin up, Matt. You have done nothing that warrants an apology. You should be lauded for your accomplishments.

Ignore these people, as there are thousands more that you have inspired with what has taken place over the last several weeks. You keep those who dream of outer space dreaming. That's everything we could of asked for. Thank you.

Wonderful feat of engineering of which we should be proud as a specie. As for the shirt - they were looking for a target because you are a white middle-class man.

Congratulations to Matt Taylor on his astounding contributions to the field of space exploration. Haters gonna hate. His name will be in the history books, long after these fools are forgotten. On a side note I'd also like to compliment Ellie Prizeman on the lovely shirt design.

fuck the feminists trying to belittle his achievements, if youre offended by an item of clothing you clearly have little to no mental strength and clearly live a very easy life.

You are part of a team that represents the best of our human nature, and I'm sorry that in what was a very proud and joyful moment, you were affected by the worst of human nature. Thanks for the inspiration and your contribution to such exciting and important science. Best of luck with the rest of the mission, so many of us will be eagerly awaiting new insights and imagery from you guys.

Matt, please don't worry about what the bullies say. Honestly. You were a big part of a mission invovling 10 years, three slingshots around two planets, and being so far away that signals took 28 minutes to get there. You are proof that someone doesn't have to be a clean-cut stiff to be a part of science, let alone a big part of science. Thank you. Keep being you, because you are awesome.

Sorry for this human nature. I hope this doesn't set you back, because these monkeys and their comments broke my soul.

Dr Matt, you deserve none of this double-standard hatred you are getting right now. Don't let those ignorant misandrists put you down when you and your team have achieved something so amazing.
