Hello Everyone!
For those of you who aren't aware, we have been having quite a heck of a time with City Hall and finding parking in the Okanagan for our Mobile Fashion Truck!! (It in-fact all stemmed from City Hall giving us the green light to build our business and then upon completion, we were told we weren't eligible for a mobile vendors permit because we are not a food truck.) Our BEYOND AMAZING Chamber of Commerce has been going to bat for us, so now it is our turn to rally the troops and collect some signatures!
LETS GET THIS RECTIFIED!!

I am exhausted by these back and forth phone calls with City Hall because they keep changing their policy on us without notice. The Chamber of Commerce is still trying to get someone to listen but the red tape feels thicker than ever today. Please keep the pressure on even if it feels quiet because I am still here fighting for all the mobile shops that deserve a spot in the city.

I really never thought this many people would get behind a fashion truck but here we are and it is honestly wild to see how much everyone cares about local businesses. It feels like the tide is finally turning against these weird restrictions and I keep reading through the comments because they just make me feel so much better about the whole mess with City Hall.

I would hope Mayor and Council can rectify this simple oversite in the wording of the Mobile permits to enable this and similiar business to proceed.
Please allow Tracy and Mikaley's clothing truck to continue to operate in Penticton BC and surrounding areas.
Let's encourage innovative, unique small businesses! Penticton should welcome new business ideas with open arms.
It's appalling that City Hall is advanced enough to have options for other types of vendors but leaves Chic Mobile Boutique with no solution.
As the owner of a mobile boutique myself, I understand this struggle.

Support all small businesses! Chic Boutique is a unique family run business. Just the type of thing Penticton prides itself on. Don't turn your back on the little guy!
