"As a citizen of the United States of America,I object to the U.S. government’s dangerous deficit spendingwhich has put America at risk for bankruptcy. Accordingly, I move to amend the U.S. Constitution to establish a Balanced Budget Amendment which requires that the U.S. government spendno more than it takes in. Furthermore, I strongly believe that the States must use the'Convention for proposing Amendments' found in Article V of the Constitutionin orderto bypass the federal government and ratifythis Balanced Budget Amendment."
