I have lived in Alexandria, worked for the APD, and still have family that work there. They have been doing a great job for years in spite of lower pay and no real backing from the City Council. Many thanks for starting this petition. We have to support our police if real change is going to occur, there are two sides to this conversation so let's make sure both are heard.
