The actions of a few bad cops should not influence decisions to protect other communities with good cops. Their job is hard, it is scary and the pay stinks so train them well and support them to keep the good ones. Show them your support. We need them or life as we know it will be gone.

APD has become one of the most Respected, Diverse and finest Law Enforcement Agencies in the Nation. We all are family here in Alexandria. The hurt, anger and death that we all have recently witnessed, touches us all to the bottom of our hearts and leaves everyone in an unmeasurable level of pain and void. We all will and must continue to stand together, hold on-to each other and walk together in Love. In Christ

We are not Minneapolis and APD is not MPD. I support APD and condemn MPD. I only hope the folks in the Twin Cities will one day have the type of professional, community oriented departments we have here. A shout to out too to the great men and women in our Sheriff’s Office.

APD is one of the finest police departments in the nation. I retired from this department after 30 years of service and I know firsthand that they work with the community to solve problems. Theses officers put the community first and they way under paid for being in the metropolitan area.

Most police officers are dedicated public servants...and should not be judged by the criminal acts of a small percentage who are out of control.
