I fully support this. I live nearby and do not see this as being an issue. Anything to help this lovely establishment stay open!!

1078 Gallery is an important Chico cultural institution and the city of Chico and it's citizens would greatly benefit from increased revenue derived from beer and wine sales at gallery events.

Might as well; folks walk to the Goose anyway and have to chug their drink before the next set. That's not good for health..beer should be savored..and drunk slowly if it's to be enjoyed properly.

As a non-profit gallery, the 1078 has limited means to raise revenue to pay their rent and other bills. Silnce the City of Chico has practically eliminated the funding for the gallery, please approve this license so that visitors to art, music, literary, and other events can enjoy an alcoholic beverage while the gallery can offset its costs.

Silnce the City of Chico has practically eliminated the funding for the gallery, please approve this license so that visitors to art, music, literary, and other events can enjoy an alcoholic beverage while the gallery can offset its costs.

Profits from beer and wine make local music possible. It affords the freedom to book acts that are more niche or are not just popular sellouts. It provides the luxury of actually paying bands. If this is denied, you might as well just ban local music at the place entirely.
