This development will have major negative impact on Hertford town and community.

There is no plan to put a car park under the development, at least ten times as much space would be assigned to car parking on green space.

What a waste of good countryside. Plus yet another detrimental effect on the wellbeing of Hertfordshire's county town.

Hertford needs it's Waitrose store in Hertford, not seven miles away.

As a local shop business owner in Hertford and a resident of Hertford it will be catastrophic if Waitrose leaves the town Center.

On behalf of the Hertford Disability Support Group, I object on the grounds that the development would not be accessible to older people without their own transport

Love this shop. A lifeline to good quality food for those who don't drive. Keep it please in some form!

People without cars depend on a supermarket like Waitrose in the centre if town. It is not on to travel by bus to Van Hages

This is an unnecessary extra shopping outlet - there are already too many supermarkets in Hertford and elderly people will suffer if the Waitrose in the centre of town is forced to close due to yet more (not needed) supermarkets

The development proposes to close the bus station and force the busses to park and wait in Fore Street, a street which would be totally blocked if more than a couple of buses parked at one time. Old people would be totally unavle to cope with the situation in many cases, as they rely on connections at a single site a few yards apart, not having to wander round the town trying to find another bus stop.

Closing the bus station will cause total gridlock for most of the time by putting up to a dozen buses ata time waiting on Fore Street, wher even now a delivery lorry can stop traffic flow.

Space must be found to persuade Waitrose to stay in Hertford Town. Waitrose foodstuff is usually of a superior quality to that of other Supermarkets in the area and certainly suits a large majority of Hertford residents.

I believe it will be detrimental to Hertford's town centre to grant this planning application.

Quote from Mark Price (CEO Waitrose) "Large out of town supermarkets were not the way people wished to shop" I find it extraordinary that they now wish to relocate to Van Hages site, leaving a hole in Hertford Twin Centre

Waitrose must stay in Hertford!
