I think now is the appropriate time for WB to release Superman on it’s 40th anniversary in theaters in order to please the fans and make them happy

I live near NYC, and I noticed that there's a screening scheduled in Brooklyn at a Regal theater. I hope there a more screenings to come!

This film has been a constant not only to my childhood, but a continual source of comfort, and sheer joy. It needs to come back to theaters, so those of us who still believe a man can fly can see it as we remember and love it still to this day.

Loved this film and Chris Reeve since I first saw it at the theatre when I was 11 yrs old. Please rerelease this classic movie again. Especially here in Perth Western Australia.

This movie needs a re-release. The major studios have already re-released inferior movies. Why not re-release this gem--the granddaddy of superhero films! I've loved this film since I was a kid!

The original theatrical cut deserves special treatment to make it the best picture and sound it can be. If Warners won’t do it then give it to Criterion. Get it done by Dec. 15th. No excuses, just do it.

Superman The Movie is a groundbreaking movie and is still fresh and untouchable to this day. It sets the standards for all serious superhero films and along with John Williams’ epic score, Richard Donner’s fantastic vision and his remarkable creative team and of course, the legendary and stunning performance the genius of Christopher Reeve gave, embodying this remarkable symbol of hope in such a way that he had us all believe in this character that he made more iconic than ever before.
