The only way to fight this is to show up in numbers that are large enogh to stop the flow of traffic and disrupt local commerce. EMERGENCY COMMISSION MEETING The Treasure Island City Commission is holding a special meeting to discuss the possibility of a 60-day ban on public alcohol consumption on the beaches of Sunset Beach. This ban could lead to a full time ban of alcohol on Sunset Beach. This would also include the beach in front of Caddys waterfront. The meeting is set for Treasure Island City Hall at 6pm on Thursday, March 26th If you enjoy hanging at the beach and having a cold beer, you need to be at City Hall to voice your opinion.
