cafe needs to be kept where else will the public go for refreshments at this end of the beach, this is a much needed business so do the right thing cornwall council

Wake up Cornish Council - stop fighting against people who have only the best interests of the community at heart! Please work WITH us all and don't waste any more resources in pointless argument! Approve the planning request and move on. I love this place - don't you????!

I support the retrospective planning permission aplplied for by Sunset Surf. This business is a valued part of the community and all repairs have been carried out respectfully.

The business is a vital draw to the area. An absolute jewel to those visiting Gwithian and Hayle.
It would be scandalous to close this beautiful unimposing business down, when you have recently approved that monstrous Asda building in Hayle.

We normally go to North Devon but decided to try this part of the Atlantic Coast because the surf looks promising and the facilities are as good as, if not better than, those we are used too. What's the point in promoting a beach if you are going to take away the facilities that make the experience complete.

As a community this planning application has to be accepted. Sunset Surf is the reason many people come back to Gwithian each year including myself and my family.

i belive the storm damage restorations have improved the cafe greatly with little, if any footprint change

We need to support this growing business as it one of the best .we come down to hayle three times maybe more as it's brilliant for surfing and the restaurant is outstanding .

So, "The Council" in its wisdom, passed the diabolical design plans for oversized ASDA on Hayle harbour!? It's cranially impossible therefore, to reject/turn down the plans of minimal impact for SUNSET SURF and it's Family business, trading for very many years....

This is a great building/business, with a wonderful vibe, good, much needed food and excellent staff committed to top of the range service to me the customer, Don't lose it .....it would be tragic

It looks absolutely awful. Like a massive shed extension. Must make a fortune selling appalling food etc. Should have invested more in the design (maybe employed an architect) for people to really care.

Hope the council make you put it all back to the way it was. You were REFUSED planning permission yet you went ahead with the work. Mr and D Mrs Bell are a disgrace to our local community thinking of nothing more than lining their own pockets.
